On February 3rd, the annual Marion Harding Singsational was hosted by Harding’s show choir, once again and show choirs from all over Ohio, from different states came out and performed for the audiences competing to get awards.
Over 18 schools came out to compete and Harding Singers, Xtreme, and Grant singing prexies performed as well but did not compete in the competition because Harding was the host. Marysville High School was the winner of Singsational out of the 18 schools who competed.
“ Preparing for Singsational takes all year” Mrs. Rawlins had said, Registrations for all the schools that attend, making sure sound, lights, and stage, communicating with directors are all set and ready to go, along with organizing programs, food, vendors, and sponsors.
Now setting up for the competition is harder than some may think Mrs. Rawlins and the singers started setting everything up around 9 am the day before and finished setting up the school around 10:30 pm.
