Alexander Ross is one of the new teachers at Harding this year. He is 24 years old and this is his second year teaching. He is the assistant choir director, teaches music theory, and co-teaches Show Choir, Advanced Choir, and Orchestra. Mr. Ross originally studied pharmacy in college however he eventually decided to go into music at Ohio State University. In his time teaching here so far, the things he found that he likes about Harding is the community, teachers, and the heavy support for the arts. Mr. Ross wanted to become a teacher because he was always a part of the performing arts, from choir and theater to marching band, and he wanted to spread the love of music to students. If he wasn’t a teacher Mr. Ross said he would be an aspiring Broadway actor.
