Meredith Gruber has been elected as one of the top 10 homecoming queen candidates. Meredith will be escorted by Kyrie Scott.
Meredith is involved in a lot of extracurricular activities. She is the president of the student council, the president of Varsity H, she swims, plays softball, and she is in TI. She also used to play basketball and volleyball.
When asked what advice she would give to the younger students at Harding, she said “stop caring about what other people think. We all have our own insecurities.”
Meredith is undecided on what career she would like to go into, but she would like to go to a university in Ohio.
She believes that everyone who is in the running for homecoming queen has the right qualities to win, and she says “everybody here deserves it. Any of these girls.”
Meredith’s favorite memory from her high school years is the spirit bus coming home from the Mansfield Senior football game. “It was probably one of the most memorable things ever,” she says.
