The Marion Harding Swim team is coached by Ryan Kelly and Aaron Prinstill. This year there are a total of five seniors on the swim team. Aubrey Boehm, Taylor Iden, Jayde Pineda, Ayris Rich and Taryn Simmers are those seniors.

The captains of the swim team are Audrey Boehm and Alexander Lisiecki.

Aubrey Boehm stated swimming is definitely an individual sport, but “...Only when you’re in the water during a race, as soon as you step back on that pool deck it’s about the team.” She claimed to have seen a huge amount of growth with so many people from the start of the season to now.

Some advice Aubrey has to offer to underclassmen is to make sure you’re where you need to be on time, listen to coaches and, “Even if you feel dumb doing what they {the coaches} are saying, I promise you will be happy you listened.”

Recently the team had their senior night on January 18th, which was held at the Marion YMCA. Girls placed second to Ontario and boys placed fourth. Most recently, on January 20th, at the MOAC meet the girls placed fifth at the meet and the boys placed 6th.
