Tri Rivers Adult Education

Tri-Rivers has an adult education program for kids who are interested in taking practical nursing, registered nursing, patient care tech, paramedic, welding, and industrial maintenance. Every full-time Adult Education student must take and pass the WorkKeys assessment. Many people have taken this test in high school, but if you have not they offer it there. You must also complete the application and submit a copy of your high school transcripts, though some programs will require a bit more than that. Nursing, for instance, needs background checks and vaccinations records. Each program is slightly different.

To apply for the Adult Education program you can either stop by the offices and fill out a paper application, or you can fill out the application on their website. Nearly all of their programs take 20 students or less. Class sizes are small, creating a very personal experience. The Adult Education building is located at Industrial Maintenance and Welding is housed at Tri-Rivers Ramtec, 2222 Marion Mt Gilead Rd in Marion. The Healthcare and Public Safety building is across the street at 2227 Marion Mt Gilead Rd in Marion.
