We are just days away from prom and everybody’s rushing to get their outfits and tickets, so here are a few updates about the day in question.
The theme for this year’s prom is going to be Las Vegas/Casino, and the prom itself will be in the same location as last year, the May Pavilion at the Palace Theater. Prom will be from 7-11 pm, just a bit longer than last year. When asked, Mr. Miller explained that the extended time for the dance was due to the fact that there will be NO after prom this year. He also explained that every few years, Harding doesn’t have an after prom, and that this is a normal occurrence.
Tickets will go on sale on May 8th for $25 a piece. You will be able to buy them from Mr. Miller himself on Main Street every day that week before 1st period starts. If you don’t get the chance to buy a ticket before the school day begins, you can still buy them in the office at any point in the day. Tickets will stop being sold May 12th at noon. If you’re planning to bring someone from out of the school district, you must turn in the prom form with a picture of the person’s ID within the first week of May.
