Marion has a lot of vacant buildings in town, from old restaurants to stores in the mall, and businesses are taking advantage of that and opening up shop in these formerly abandoned places. Here are some of the newer businesses in town:
Art By Wendy: An art shop located inside the Marion Mall down by the pool tables. They sell paintings, centerpieces, and much more! (next to Dark Iron/Thunderfury).

Bealls: An outlet retail store that was originally opened in Florida, founded in 1915 and has over 650 stores in the chain; it is located next to Petco and Dollar Tree.

Charleys Philly Steaks: A restaurant chain that serves different types of philly cheesesteaks, they bought the old Popeyes’ building to set up shop in; the next closest one is located in Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus.

Dark Iron Cosplay Design: A cosplay and toy shop, they make customized costumes and props for any kind of event; next to Art By Wendy.*

Del Taco: A fast food restaurant chain that specializes in tacos and Mexican cuisine but serves much more, such as burgers and shakes; located next to Perkins.

Here Today: A thrift shop located at the far end of the mall, opposite of the movie theater. They sell all sorts of things, from jackets to socks, at very reasonable prices.

Ready Up Gaming Lounge: A gaming lounge that is located across from the movie theater. They sell/buy video games, gaming consoles, Pokemon cards, and more. You can also just stop by and play some games for a bit too!

Sidekicks Coffee: A little coffee shop, located next to the movie theater. They have endless drink combinations, whether you like your drinks hot or cold, and very reasonable prices. They have snacks for sale, along with art made by local artists. (You know it’s a great place when even Starbucks employees prefer going there.)
