Layla Schneider is a returning sophomore here at Harding High School. She is a member of The Harding Herald, this being her second year. She also helped Sofya Hart-Sedyhk begin the GMS Chronicle at Grant Middle School. She is very involved in extracurriculars that include soccer, track, book-club, Varsity H, student council; on top of all of that, she also works at The Jer-Zee. Layla stated that after high school, she wants to attend college to major in political science, and she also wants to minor in literature. She hopes to become a lawyer and impact her community by working on things like women’s rights. When asked why she joined this class, Schneider said, “I have always enjoyed writing.” She also stated that it was her favorite class last year.Layla has said that her favorite thing about herself is her effort, “I try to do my best and always work very hard.” Layla said that she is not 100% sure of what college she plans to attend, but it will not be in Ohio. Some things she enjoys are soccer, Chipotle, the colors pink and green, cows, and Taylor Swift's music.
