From bytes to goodbyes: Colton brooks bids farewell to MCS

In early October, Colton Brooks, A familiar face at Harding, made the decision to bid farewell to his long standing career as Lead Technician. After a decade of working for Marion City Schools, He got an opportunity that is better suited for his family, working at Matthews Ford, where he will be selling cars. He also said that “there’s a lot of things that go into technology that people don’t see, a lot of behind the scenes things.” When asked about his favorite memories from his time at Harding, he fondly recalled,“I can’t say a specific memory, just made a lot of friendships and met a lot of good people and fine students, and it’s been really fun for me as someone who graduated from Harding being able to see the changes that I feel like I’ve put into effect here.” During his time at Harding, he oversaw district projects, contributed to various aspects of the network infrastructure throughout the district, and tackled any other task assigned to him. Colton wanted to extend his heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the incredible experience he was given while working for Marion City Schools.
