First Fall Festival

On October 29th, an estimated 450-500 people attended the very first fall festival put on by The Varsity H Club. The fall festival had activities like pumpkin painting, trunk-or-treat and a costume contest.

The club made a profit of $1,362. The money raised will go to anything the club and its leadership council decides to spend it on. Typically, some of the money is used to purchase new tee shirts for club members, as well as to sponsor exclusive events such as the Spring Bash.

Varsity H would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Mark McQuown for getting together everything needed for the hay rides and driving the tractor all night, Mr. Sean Kearns for helping operate the hay rides, Mr. Scott Croskey for setting up the speakers and movie for the festival, and Mrs. Carol Bebout for spending the day with the club and helping supervise the festival.

For those who don’t know, Varsity H is a club here at Harding that consists of varsity athletes from all different sports and was founded in 1926.
