Here are a few updates for spring sports this year.
There are two new head coaches; the new varsity head coach for softball is Mr. McCrery, and the new head boys tennis coach is Mr. Dustin Ellis.
For spring sports this year Mr. Kearns is hoping there won’t be many restrictions, but players and coaches still need to be aware that Covid is still around, and they should still use common sense and good judgements.
There have been many state qualifiers from winter sports.
Autumn Fitzgerald in gymnastics - was All Ohio, 7th in Vault, 8th in Beam
David Backus at 132# and Drake Cerny at 126# in wrestling
Also the boys bowling team qualified for state for the 5th year in a row and won 2nd place at the state tournament
Boy's and Girl’s Varsity Track team will have their first meet on March 26th, 2022 it will be held at Delaware Hayes at 9:30 am.
Varsity baseball will have a game April 5, 2022 against Shelby Senior High School 5:15 pm at Grant Middle School.
Varsity softball will have a game April 5, 2022 against Shelby Senior High School 5:15 pm at Harding High School.
Boys Varsity Tennis will have a match April 5, 2022 against Fostoria High School at 4:30 pm.
