Ye

Kanye West. American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer.

As most of us know Kanye, otherwise known as Ye, is infamous for strongly presenting his opinions and beliefs. From being a loyal supporter of Donald Trump, all the way to expressing “White Lives Matter,” West's life is more open to the world than he might truly recognize.

Although Ye has been blowing up the media immensely the last few years, he’s been causing commotion in this aspect for most of his life. The netflix documentary, Jeen-Yuhs, is based on Kanye West’s rise to fame. In this series, it was noted that before his first hit album dropped, Ye actually lived a pretty normal life as do most celebrities prior to success. He was raised in Chicago, Illinois by single mother, Donda West. Jeen-Yuhs focuses a lot on his relationship with his mother and how much he adored her. After her passing in 2007, it’s obvious that Kanye’s life changed completely. We soon recognized that West’s life started to spiral.

Recently, it was brought to the media that Kim Kardashian was divorcing Ye. After 8 years of marriage, 4 kids, and multitudes of backlash, Kim was officially done with West. This took an ultimate turn in his life. He expressed his feelings about the situation to Instagram and Twitter, telling people how Kim won’t allow him to take his children to church and that he wants nothing more than his “family to come back together.” After many posts directing different people who are involved, both Instagram and Twitter restricted Ye’s accounts.

As of today, Ye’s most recent piece of “drama” is his falling out with world wide brand

Adidas. As many of us know, back in 2013, Kanye partnered with Adidas and created a brand named “Yeezy.” News hit the media informing us that “Ye and Adidas are no longer together as the retail giant announced on Oct. 25 that they have terminated their partnership following his recent antisemitic comment.” According to Fox Business, "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech," the company said in a statement. "Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."

With no longer having his wife, music career hitting a decline, and losing partnership with his business… What’s next for THEE Kanye West?
